City of Cincinnati Police Lieutenant Promotional Process

Ergometrics and Applied Personnel Research, Inc. and the City of Cincinnati are administering the 2016
Police Lieutenant Promotional Assessment Center for the Cincinnati Police Department. They are
currently recruiting assessors to evaluate candidate performance during this promotional process.
Assessors must be at the current rank of lieutenant or higher and have two or more years experience at
the rank to be considered.

This is a great growth opportunity to experience the assessment process from the assessor side, which
will contribute to your preparation for upcoming opportunities at your own department. You will also
get to work with other professionals within your field.

Assessment Center Dates

The assessment center dates are June 8 to June 10, 2016. The assessment center will begin at 8 am on
June 8 so assessors will need to arrive on Tuesday, June 7. The assessment center will end around 4 pm
on June 10th. Assessors are free to head home the evening of June 10 or the morning of June 11. With
your agreement to take part in the process, the City will pay for your travel expenses including hotel,
airfare, and transportation. Breakfast and lunch will be provided during the assessment center. The City
will also provide a per diem for meals outside of the assessment center.
