Attention Retirees, If you retired between 01 Jan 2021 and 31 Oct 2025 please read the following important information.

Grievance 546-21-021 filed by the CPLA regarding the city overcharging ACTIVE members for Healthcare benefits has been resolved. (NOTE: This grievance is not related to the on-going retiree grievance regarding healthcare.) The city has mailed out checks to retirees at their last address on file with the city. If your address has changed since your retirement and you did not update the city with your new address, you will need to contact the finance department at 312-745-5650 to find out how to receive your check.

If your address has not changed since your retirement or you notified the city of your new address and you have not received a check from the city please send an email to both presidentcpla@yahoo.com and vpcpla@yahoo.com. In the email please submit your name, retirement date, and indicate that you have not received a check from the city. You will be contacted by someone from the CPLA at the email address you use to send in this information.
