IROCC Update

Important Message Written In Red on a Black Background

The following notice has been posted to the Illinois Retired Officer Concealed Carry site (irocc.org). There is no information at this time if the Federal Government will grant extensions for expired cards.

Out of concern and safety for all of our participants, IROCC will be cancelling all qualification shoots beginning at the end of business 3/20/2020. All of our shoots through April 2020 are cancelled.  Scheduling for qualification shoots is currently suspended.  Once we have information regarding upcoming dates and locations all eligible participants that are currently being processed, will receive an updated schedule to choose a date and location to attend a shoot.

Please keep in mind, there is no grace period after your current card expires.  Your IROCC card is a qualification card for Federal Law H.R. 218 Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act.   We do not have any authority to make such changes.   If something does change, we will post this information immediately.

The IROCC office will be closed until March 30th, where we will reopen with limited hours.
