Welcome Retirees!

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of speaking with some of you regarding the contact letter you received and your addition to our website user list.  It was great talking to you and catching up!  We’ve made a commitment to stay in touch and to provide useful information including updates and news from everywhere we’ve got members.

Some of the posts and information on our website are restricted to members only.  In order to view the restricted info you need a website account.  Signing up for the website is easy.  Scroll down on the home page to see the Login section on the right side.  Click “Register” and fill out the form.  We’ll send you an email to verify your email address.  Once you verify we’ll review your info and get you up and running.

If you need to reset your password simply click the “Lost your password?” link in the Login section on the right side of the home page, enter your email address and click the Get New Password button.

Because our website is police related there are a myriad of hackers, hacktivists, cyberpunks and cyber-criminals attempting unauthorized access to our system.  They do it for several reasons including access to send out spam email and distribution of malicious software.  We’ve implemented a high degree of security to our website so you don’t have to worry about your information but you’ll occasionally need to reset your password.

We’ve also created an Events system so it’s easier to RSVP to our Member meetings.  This past September we had a great turn out at Edelweiss Restaurant and we used our Event system to register, organize and update everyone attending.

It’s been a challenging year for law enforcement to say the least but we hope that our website will keep all of our members informed and updated with information most important to them.
