With immense love and heavy hearts, we remember the life of Logan Joseph Perez (age 4 ), who passed away on January 2, 2025, at just four years old. In his short but profoundly meaningful time with us, Logan brought boundless joy, light, and laughter to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Logan was the beloved son of Joseph (CPD Lt.) and Vanessa Perez and the cherished older brother of his sister, Ellie.

He shared an unbreakable bond with his family, finding joy and adventure in every moment spent together. A spirited and curious little boy, Logan’s talents and passions shine brightly. He had a natural rhythm that made his love for drumming unmistakable, and his days were often filled with the vibrant worlds of his favorite characters—Spidey, Bluey, and Batman. Logan’s fascination with trucks, especially garbage and monster trucks brought endless excitement to his playtime with his Dad, while trips to the movie theater were treasured outings where he delighted in popcorn and the magic of the big screen. His budding love of books and stories reflected a curious mind and a heart full of wonder.

Logan’s courage was as remarkable as his joy. During his two-year battle with leukemia, he faced every challenge with extraordinary strength and resilience, inspiring everyone around him. Despite the hardships, Logan’s radiant smile and infectious laughter never dimmed. Though his time with us was far too brief, Logan’s impact will be felt forever. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and light that will continue to inspire and comfort those who knew and loved him. He inspired his parents to create a foundation in his honor, ensuring his memory will continue to bring hope, joy and comfort to children and families facing similar situations.

In addition to his parents and sister, Logan is survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. May Logan’s spirit live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his bright and beautiful presence. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
