Raymond D. Madigan, of Chicago, Illinois, retired Chicago Police Sergeant, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Karen Madigan (ret. CPD) and loving bulldog Gino; siblings Dave (Jean), William (Diane), and Mike. Preceded in death by his parents: Edward (ret. CPD Lieutenant) and Louella Madigan; brother Dennis Madigan and sister Patricia Madigan, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Ray served on the Chicago Police Department for 38 years. Ray enjoyed spending summers at his home in Sister Lakes, Michigan and was also a volunteer for Chicago English Bulldog Rescue. Friends and Family will gather for a Visitation that will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Andrew McGann Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago, IL. Prayers will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Andrew McGann Funeral Home. Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
