George Rafalski, Retired CPD Lieutenant, died peacefully on November 20th 2017 at the age of 80. George is survived by his daughters Kim Spaid (Steve) and Kristin Masser (Jeff) his grand children; Kaitlyn, Michael, and Avery Masser. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen, and grandson Nick Spaid. George was born 4/12/37 in Chicago. He served overseas in the Army prior to becoming a Chicago Police Officer; where he served 40 years. He retired to his loved town of Galena, IL. A memorial is scheduled for Monday, November 27th from 4-9 pm at Metropolis, 6 S Vail Ave. Arlington Hts. IL 60005.
